Myles Trapp, MS is a Master Sommelier, educator, and hospitality consultant based in California. He earned the Master Sommelier diploma in 2024 after building his career at acclaimed restaurants including Auberge du Soleil, REDD, and Bottega, where he developed a deep appreciation for hospitality rooted in curiosity, generosity, and a sense of place. Today, Myles is Vice President of Partnerships at Preferabli, where he helps travelers discover exceptional wine country experiences, and he continues to teach, examine, and mentor aspiring wine professionals. He also leads intimate educational trips through regions like Champagne and Burgundy, blending vineyard visits, producer relationships, history, and gastronomy. For Myles, wine is ultimately about people, not prestige — he loves helping others engage with it through curiosity and connection. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, cycling, yoga, and spending time with family.
