SCARBOLO WINE DINNER

One of my absolute favorite regions in Italy is Friuli Venezia Giulia. Modern wines of laser sharp focus and purity, there is something for everyone in this autonomous region. Nestled between German, Italian and Slavic cultures, the wines are expressive, bright and transformative. From bracing and polished white wines, to bold, juicy reds, I am a huge fan of the region and I know you will be, too.

I am happy to announce that on June 3rd, we will be featuring the wines of Scarbolo in a 7 course menu prepared by Chef Deneb Williams. Joining us will be Mattia Scarbolo, all the way from Friuli to share stories of his family’s estate as well as the journey from grape to glass.

The Scarbolo operation began in the late 1980s, coming from a family run business that previously made only bulk wine for local consumption (as is true for many producers of the area). These wines are absolutely delicious, perfectly fresh, and just in time for summer.
