Twin Peaks Orchards – Newcastle, CA

For over 100 years, Twin Peaks Orchards has grown peaches in the Sierra foothills. Still family-run and one of the only continuously Japanese-owned farms in the region, their story begins with the founders of the Blue Anchor Fruit Exchange, which transformed California agriculture in the early 1900s. Their yellow peaches star in our Composed Oysters — paired with lemon cucumber, trout roe, and a touch of chili oil — bringing sun-ripened sweetness to the briny freshness of the sea.
Ray Yeung & Yeung Farms – West Sacramento, CA

Founded in 1927 by Joe Yeung, an immigrant farmer from China, Yeung Farms has become one of Sacramento’s most trusted sources for heirloom and vine-ripened tomatoes. Their fruit bursts with flavor at this time of year, anchoring our Insalata Caprese, where burrata meets heirloom tomato sorbet and lavash, and woven through our Bucatini alla Norma, with eggplant, basil, and ricotta salata. This is tomato season at its peak, and we’re honored to showcase it.
Dwelley Family Farms – Brentwood & Oakley, CA

The Dwelley family has been farming the Delta since 1921, and their sweet corn is a seasonal hallmark of Northern California. In our Branzino entrée, Brentwood corn is paired with blue lake beans, pea shoots, and Calabrian chili — a dish that captures both the sweetness of late summer and the vibrancy of the harvest season.
Homegrown Inc – Sacramento, CA

Closer to home, Homegrown Inc provides us with micro basil for both the Caprese and Tortellini dishes. A woman-, family-, and POC-owned business, Homegrown grows vibrant microgreens right here in Sacramento, bringing freshness, sustainability, and community pride to every plate.
Tsar Nicoulai – Wilton & Elverta, CA

Not all treasures of the season grow in the soil — some are raised with care in the waters of the Sacramento Valley. Our caviar service features Tsar Nicoulai Golden Reserve Caviar, produced just outside the city in Wilton and Elverta. As one of the first sustainable caviar farms in the United States, Tsar Nicoulai has earned the prestigious ECOCERT designation, which emphasizes organic farming, animal welfare, and traceability.
At Allora, their Golden Reserve caviar is paired with warm zeppole, caramelized onion, and crème fraîche — a luxurious bite that balances indulgence with a deep respect for sustainability. You’ll also find their trout roe brightening our composed oysters, a reminder that Sacramento’s abundance extends beyond farms and orchards to its rivers and aquaculture.
These ingredients — peaches, tomatoes, corn, peppers, basil — are as fleeting as the season itself. By October, peaches will give way to apples, tomatoes will fade, and corn will yield to squash and root vegetables. September is your chance to taste them at their very best.
We invite you to join us at Allora this month for the last taste of summer. Celebrate the farmers who make Sacramento one of the most abundant regions in the country, raise a glass, and savor these dishes while the season lasts.
